Hey! I’m Sadie

A designer and artist who loves to explore and stay in a constant state of learning. I’m inspired by the way artwork can communicate what words alone cannot, and much of my work centers on branding and typography. I approach every project with a focus on problem-solving and collaboration. I hold a degree in Studio Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design, and I’m always looking for new ways to grow, create, and connect through thoughtful design.

My Design Story

I first began my design journey when I was twelve. On long family road trips, I always brought activities to keep myself busy. One day, during an art competition with my sister, we asked our parents to each give us a food and an animal so we could invent a restaurant name and design. I ended up creating an ice cream shop featuring a tortoise mascot called “The Tipsy Turtle.” Looking back, that small moment was the spark that led me to discover what I now know is graphic design.

I continued creating designs and experimenting with branding throughout high school. At one point, I became interested in fashion and even designed my own logo to use on the clothing I sketched and hoped to create.

This interest grew even more during my senior year of high school, when I realized that design could become a real career path. I loved how it blended creativity, collaboration, and the chance to work in a professional field while creating meaningful work for both myself and others.
